This course deals with the systems approach of undertaking business in agriculture. It will highlight the interactions of all activities and factors in the supply chain which includes the sourcing of inputs; farm production activities; the processing of farm products; distribution in the local and global markets and the different agencies and programs supporting the commodities. All these will be considered within the socio-cultural, political, economic environment, and development landscape of the country. It will also deal with developing an agribusiness enterprise.
