The course introduces agribusiness as field of study dealing with agribusiness sectoral components and subsystems, fundamentals of managing agribusiness ventures with emphasis on the introduction of the four functional areas of management. Furthermore, it covers management problems and opportunities of agribusiness firms and related industries. It is also concern with integrative arrangements that relate to decisions and operations of agribusiness firms and major commodity systems.
