This course is focused on principles and utilization of basic assessment tools to improve the teaching-learning process. In this process of measuring knowledge, comprehension and other thinking skills along the cognitive, psychomotor and affective domains, this course distinguishes the uses of assessment “of” learning, assessment “for” learning and assessment “as” learning. This course includes the standard steps in test construction and how to determine the measures of central tendency and measures of dispersion.
