Earth Science is the study of the processes that shape the Earth and explain the universe. This 3-unit course deals with the overview of Earth science, its structure and composition and various processes that sculpture the Earth’s surface. Specifically, it introduces the student to the features and the interactions in and between of the lithosphere, hydrosphere, atmosphere, and the biosphere. The course will include lectures and laboratory sessions. Occasional Field trips is also required.
