Reading 240 (Diagnosis and Remediation of Reading Difficulties) is a study of the methods of assessing reading levels and reading behavior, the use of reading and perceptual tests as well as diagnostic procedures related to reading difficulties. It is a course designed to provide relevant practicum experiences in evaluation and remediation of reading difficulties of elementary/middle-secondary students. Experiences are provided in diagnosis, instructional planning for remediation as well as on-going evaluation of reading progress.
