Welcome to Ichthyology Class!

Course Description:
The study of the biology, classification and systematics, and life histories of fishes with emphasis on commercial species. This will also cover the ecological niches of the commercially important species and their characteristic behavior and adaptation.

Course Objectives:
At the end of the semester, the students are able to:
a. know the world of fishes
b. know and understand the different external/ internal parts of fish; and
c. know the systematic classification and life histories of commercially important fish species
