This is an Introductory Course to Accounting wherein the student is introduced to the World of Accounting and the Accounting Profession.
Basic Accounting Concepts And Theories will be discussed such as the Types of Business Oganization, Accounting Principles, Conceptual Framework of Accounting, The Role of accounting in Business and the Accounting Profession particularly the Career Opportunities of An Accountant.
The Student will also learn about the Elements of the Financial Statements and how to Prepare the Financial Statement itself which is the final and most important output of Accounting.
Lastly, the Student will be introduced to the Accounting Cycle and learn each stage of the Accounting Cycle.
At the end of the course, the student will be able to apply the concepts learned to enable him to become An accounting bookkeeper In the future.
