Advanced Research Design in Behavioral Sciences is a 3-unit course that gives premium on the integration of multiple worldviews in conducting qualitative, quantitative, and mixed-methods education research. In addition, all leaming activities and course requirements cover the pressing issue and gaps related to education where self-reflexivity in understanding the research process is applied. Likewise, doctoral students will critically evaluate theoretical/ paradigmatic positions and understand how theoretical positions influence design, data collection and analysis. Furthermore, this course will require students to defend their title as an initial output of their graduate dissertation proposal.
